I am so excited to be teaching at Hill Creek School this year! This is my first year in the Santee School District. I previously taught at a private school in Serra Mesa, and briefly in Poway. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Security Management, and a master’s degree in Elementary Teacher Education. I have previously served as a board member and as board president of a local school board.

I am the proud mother of two sons who both attend Cajon Park. We are a baseball and competitive swimming family, and love watching sports together (GO PADRES! GO DOLPHINS!). I grew up in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, and have previously lived in Virginia and Florida. However, I have been a resident of California for over a decade and have fallen completely in love with being in Santee.

I have a passion for inspiring young people, and my goal is to help your child discover their strengths and help them build strong skill sets that will prepare them for high school next year. As a parent myself, I also understand how important your role is in regards to your child’s education. Therefore, please feel free to contact me should you have any questions!
