Meet Your Teacher

Hebert Banner

Hello and welcome students and parents! My name is Tamara Hebert and I am thrilled to be one of your child's teachers this year! We have an exciting adventure ahead of us and I am honored to be part of this year of growth and learning.

I have been teaching for 14 years and have taught kindergarten, first and third grade. This year I am serving as the Intervention Resource teacher. The classroom is a happly place for me! I find joy in knowing that with me, students have built a foundation for learning that will remain with them throughout their education years.

I am proud to teach in the community I grew up in. I attended Carlton Hills and Santana High School. I was raised the daughter of two teachers and a passion for education runs in my blood. I graduated from San Diego State with my B.A. in Liberal Studies and received my credential and masters from National University.

My husband Shane and I have been married for 15 years and are happy to call Santee home. We live here with our two daughters, Nellie (13) and Parker (10). We love to get outside whenever we can and especially love taking the girls camping. I absolutely love being a parent and enjoy my time with my girls. We recently added a sweet puppy to our family and are completely smitten with our little Sadie girl.
